The Sello Colectivo Calakmul is awarded to companies in the municipality that carry out their internal processes under sustainability criteria: Governance, Local Economy and Environmental Stewardship. This initiative seeks to:
- Contribute to forming the commercial and tourist identity of Calakmul, giving added value to the products of the region.

- Promote a system of continuous improvement in companies that contributes to sustainable development.
To develop this initiative, the following actions were carried out:
Development of the CSCC management and operation model. Formulation of roles and dutties of certification bodies, development of operation manuals and certification regulations.
Formation of the Technical Certification Commission of the Calakmul Collective Seal. Conformed by representatives of productive committees and public institutions; it is in charge of administering, managing and carrying out the process of evaluation and opinion of the requesting companies.
Training program for evaluators / consultants. Following the criteria of the Collective Seal, students of the Technic in Management career, at the Calakmul Technological University (UTC) received training to evaluate one company and advise another, taking into account the observations of the evaluation. It is envisaged that UTC will soon incorporate the subject of Certification Processes into its program.
At the end of Phase 2 of the Selva Maya Program, it is expected that the CSCC model will be consolidated and at least ten more companies develop sustainable practices and obtain the certificate.
